Pep Guardiola has reportedly told Man City owners to table a bid for BVB star.

Incoming Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has reportedly told the English giants to make a move for Borussia Dortmund hit-man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Gabon international has been in sensational form for  BVB this season, having scored 33 goals in 38 games. The African Player of the Year 2015 has also been linked with a move to European bigwigs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, and lately, Mancheter City.

According to Le 10 Sport, The Citizens have now entered the race to sign the 26-year-old as they aim at winning major titles in their first season with the experienced Spanish boss.

The newspaper further reports that Pep is allegedly concerned about the lack of adequate firepower up front in Man City’s squad. Thus, Aubameyang could be an excellent addition to the Sky Blues. This decision will, however, need a little bid of sacrifice which would make Wilfried Bony one of the greatest victims.

Pep is reportedly willing to sell the former Swansea City man and top up the amount to buy Aubameyang from Dortmund. Bony has only scored four Premier League goals in 21 appearances for Man City, a below-average performance for a striker who had scored 25 goals in 54 appearances for Swansea between 2013 and 2015.
