Bayern Munich captain Philip Lahm is set to make history if he starts today against Italian giants Juventus in their UEFA Champions League fixture at the Juventus Stadium in Turin. The former Germany captain will be making his 100th appearance for the Bavarians in Europe’s top club competition.
He will become the 28th player in history to play 100 games in the Champions League. The 32-year-old won the UEFA Champions League with Bayern Munich in 2013 but prior to the victory, he had emerged as the runners up with the German outfit in 2010 and 2012.
