Jürgen Klopp is getting ready to coach his first game against Manchester United, and even if the team's supporters are not very fond of the former Red Devils' boss, Sir Alex Ferguson, the German manager praised the Scottsman by comparing him to one of Liverpool's most iconic characters in history.
"I have a big respect for him because of what he has done in his life before and it's not easy for another manager to do that. Maybe he is the greatest ever - the John Lennon of football," Klopp said in an interview.
The German manager referred to Ferguson's words when he took over as Brendan Rodgers' substitute 100 days ago.
"I think he'll do very well. I don't like saying that, being Liverpool, because I'm worried about it, but he'll do well," Ferguson said about Klopp when he signed with the Reds.

The German boss has coached the Reds in 21 games, winning ten, drawing seven and losing four. Liverpool is currently ninth in the EPL standings, but a win against Man United could see them climb up to the sixth spot.
