A Real Madrid star was allegedly involved in a police chase that clocked 125 MPH.

Real Madrid midfielder James Rodriquez was reportedly involved in a wild police chase clocking up to 125 miles per hour on his way to training on Friday.

According to reports in Madrid, the Colombia international was chased by two police officers after it was discovered that he was speeding around Madrid. The police allegedly activated the sirens and lights and began chasing after the star player.

The chase reportedly ended after 3.7 miles when Rodriguez was pulled over.

The Daily Mail further reports that the player claimed that he was speeding because he was getting late for training. He further explained that he did not hear the police siren due to the loud music playing in his car. Luckily enough, the 24-year-old was cautioned by the traffic police officers without any fine or charge against him.
