The Portuguese ace needs only one more goal to become the La Liga's 3rd most prolific striker, surpassing Mexican legend Hugo Sánchez.

Real Madrid's win over Las Palmas was almost certain from the beginning, since Los Blancos have never lost a match against the recently promoted squad at Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. But paying no attention to what stats had to say, Cristiano Ronaldo took a stand and scored against another La Liga team, making him the only player to score against each of his Spanish opponents wearing Real Madrid's colours.

Ronaldo's goal of the evening came after Marcelo sent a cross from  the left flank, leaving CR7 all alone in the box. Then, he smoothly headed the ball into the lower right-hand corner of Javi Varas' net, giving Los Blancos a comfortable two-goal lead.

CR7 has scored at least one goal against each and every Spanish team he has faced with Real Madrid, bringing his total to 30 teams. Considering every other team he has played against, Ronaldo's total goes to 54 teams he's damaged. CR7 failed to send the ball into the back of the net against just four teams: Dinamo Zagreb, Cruz Azul, San Lorenzo and PSG.

Here are his full stats playing with Real Madrid.
