Reports in Italy and England have come out with an interesting deal concerning Vidal and Mata during the upcoming transfer window.

If reports are to be believed, Manchester United are still not giving up on signing Arturo Vidal.

The Red Devils were in hot pursuit of the Juventus midfielder all summer, with Louis Van Gaal earmarking the Chilean star as a perfect addition to the team as he hopes to restore some of the old glories at Old Trafford.

Yet, the Bianconeri, who had recently had the 27-year-old sign a contract extension, refused to deal and so the combative midfielder remained in Turin after the summer transfer window closed.

Well, now fresh reports indicate that Juventus may be doing a sudden about-face and ready to listen to offers, especially after slapping him with a hefty £80,000 fine as punishment for mixing it up in a nightclub before their huge clash vs. Roma.

According to the Italian publication the Bianconeri are prepared to ship out Vidal and bring in Juan Mata as a replacement

As per further Spanish reports, Juventus may be willing to consider a new Manchester United approach if the Premier League powerhouse were to include Juan Mata in any sort of deal.

The former Chelsea man, who moved to the Red Devils only earlier this year after seeing his playing time at Stamford Bridge vastly limited, again now finds himself on the fringes due to some of the new arrivals this season and has only featured more due to Wayne Rooney's current ban.

With January just a couple months away it will be interesting to observe as to whether anything comes to fruition in the winter or if both clubs opt to wait until the summer 2015 transfer market.
