“Messi and I have talked about this game a lot,” captain Neymar revealed. “We argued who would win. I told him that it's okay if he scores, as long as we win.”

As part of the hype of the Superclásico de las Americas, Neymar couldn’t help but declare during Friday's pre-match press conference:
“I do not know if Argentina are ahead of us at this moment, but if so, then I hope we surprise everyone tomorrow and beat them!”
