The Dutchman was the punchline of some hilarious Internet memes after he was pictured resembling ET

Whilst in a hotel in Moscow, getting prepared for their Champions League away clash with CSKA Moscow, Bayern Munich were given a scare when there was a fire alert at their designated hotel.

Arriving in the Russian capital back on Sunday, The Bavanrians players and staff were all escorted out of the hotel whilst precautionary methods were taken, with star attacker Arjen Robben seen wearing a worrying exression.

And the 30-year-old Dutch attacker struck a pose bearing in resemblance to an iconic Holloywood character, one that everybody knows and loves.

HUMOR: Arjen Roben phone home! The Dutchman was pictured resembling the famous ET

Robben was pictured under a white towel, and many quickly drew comparison with the cute little alien from the highly successful E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial movie, something hilariously pointed out in the memes below.

The Bundesliga champions head to the Arena Khimki on the back of their key 1-0 victory over Manchester City, and will look to further extend the Russian side's nightmare European campaign, after CSKA Moscow fell to a whopping 5-1 defeat at the hands of Serie A side Roma.

The two sides will be playing behind closed doors after UEFA sanctioned CSKA Moscow over racism charges, something Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola was not pleased about.

"I've never experienced it and I hope it's the last time," said Guardiola.

"We will have to adapt to the situation, but it's a little strange all the same."

This was also echoed by Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, showing empathy for die Roten faithful who could have made this away fixture.

"Football is a question of atmosphere and emotion," said Bayern chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge.

"But there will only be a handful of officials and journalists. I feel sorry for the fans, some of whom haven't missed a single Bayern away match in 25 years."
