Among other collectibles, the Dutch international claims to have the 2013 UEFA Champions League matchball, in which he scored the winning goal for Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich's Dutch star Arjen Robben confessed today he would absolutely love to build a private museum with memorabilia he's collected throughout his career. The former Chelsea and Real Madrid player told in an interview that the idea will blossom once he and his wife find their definitive home:

"When my wife and me finally settle down, when my career is over, I would like to gather all the stuff I've collected in my playing days and build a private museum, so my friends and family can look at them. It would be just for my closest relatives, not for the public," Robben stated.

The Dutch international, one of The Netherlands top players during the past World Cup, ellaborated on his plans after retirement, which he sees far from happening today:

"I want to gather everything and sort it out. I don't want anything to be misplaced. I still possess shoes I've worn in Euros or in World Cups, I've got shirts from other players, stuff like that. I even got a hold of the matchball for the 2013 UEFA Champions League Final that we won, so it would be nice to have a place where we can look at them and remember those times," Robben explained.

After sharing his post-retirement hopes, Robben made it clear he is not considering hanging his shoes in the near future, since he still feels the same passion for the game. "I haven't seriously considered retirement, not even when I came down with injuries all the time. I still want to practice football for many years, I still love football and always will," Robben claimed.
