Both Cameroon and Croatia will be fighting tooth and nail to earn maximum points in this win or go home clash.

With tournament favorites and hosts Brazil being held to a 0-0 stalemate by Mexico, the two sides now sit on four points each. However, the other two members of Group A, Cameroon and Croatia, both have zero, having lost their opening fixtures 1-0 and 3-1 respectively.

On paper at least, the Cameroonians are in a better place, as they're just at -1 whereas the Croatians are at -2. But, that is where the advantage ends. Les Lions Indomptables will have to do with captain and top marksman Samuel Eto'o whereas the Vatreni will be pleased with the return of Mario Mandzukic following his one match ban.

Unlike Group B, which has already been decided with the Netherlands and Chile making it to the round of 16 at the expense of Australia, and most shockingly, Spain, the situation in Group A is still naturally an on-going story. Obviously, both sides will be giving their all to earn all three points as they hope to close the gap on Mexico and Brazil.
