Under this deal, ESPN provides coverage of at least 65 matches per season, with a focus on fixtures involving top-flight clubs. Some games are available on channels like ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPN Deportes, but most Spanish Cup broadcasts are exclusive to the ESPN+ streaming service. ESPN Deportes handles the Spanish-language coverage, while other ESPN channels feature commentary in English.

The network creates highlight reels and uses goal replays across its themed football programming, news shows, website and social media channels.

Viewers must subscribe to a participating pay-TV provider to watch the Copa del Rey live on ESPN’s television networks in the United States. Options include services like DirecTV, Xfinity, Verizon Fios, Spectrum, or YouTube TV.

For Spanish Cup streaming via ESPN+, users must purchase a separate subscription—either monthly or annually—regardless of their cable provider. ESPN+ is compatible with Smart TVs from Samsung, LG, Vizio, Android TV, and streaming devices like Apple TV, Roku, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire Stick. It also runs on PlayStation and Xbox consoles.

Desktop access is available through browsers such as Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, and the ESPN+ app supports mobile viewing on tablets and smartphones running Android or iOS. All Copa del Rey matches are delivered in High Definition, and a broadband connection is recommended for optimal streaming performance.
