Sky Italia’s non-exclusive UEFA Champions League rights in Italy have been extended until 2027 after a three-year renewal deal worth over $700 million. The pay-TV provider covers 185 out of the 203 Champions League games during the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 seasons. Unlike in previous seasons, Sky Italia no longer sub-licenses matches to other channels - including its free-to-air channel TV8.

Sky Italia has retained its linear and digital UEFA Europa League rights in Italy from 2024 to 2027 following a three-year deal. The commercial broadcaster covers all 189 matches per season from the 2024-25, 2025-26, and 2026-27 versions of the Europa League. A limited number of matches are available on a free-to-air basis on public broadcaster Rai, which shows games on its free-to-air channel Rai 1.
As per its agreement with UEFA, Sky Italia offers comprehensive coverage of the Europa League across its linear TV and digital platforms. This includes live broadcasts and streams of games starting from the group stages to the final, as well as exclusive shoulder programming that adds additional value for subscribers. This programming includes pre- and post-match analysis, highlights, interviews, documentaries, and match replays.
Sky Italia’s broadcast coverage of Europa League matches is accessible through the network’s family of linear channels and its streaming service, Sky Now. Subscribers also have the option to watch some matches live and on-demand in 4K HDR via Sky channel 213. However, to access this, viewers must ensure that Sky Ultra HD is active or they have Sky Q via satellite.

2025-2028
Sky Italia has secured exclusive Premier League broadcast rights in Italy for the 2025-26, 2026-27, and 2027-28 seasons, extending its previous deal by three years. As a result, fans in Italy can now watch up to 10 EPL games per round live and on-demand on Sky Italia’s linear channels, an increase from the previous maximum of seven fixtures per matchday.
