The channel was launched on September 4, 2010 in Serbia, adding localized content for other neighbor nations such as Croatia later that year. It is one of the most popular sports channels in the country due to its content and variety of disciplines available to watch.
Since its launch, Arena Sport has included a variety of disciplines to increase its viewership, mainly thanks to the number of channels included in the network, which has increased to ten in Croatia.
