Serie A - Matchday 26 overview
As things stand, Juventus are en route to making it an unprecedented sixth straight Scudetto. The Bianconeri come into their tie with Empoli on a 29 match winning streak at home, including a 4-1 victory over Palermo last week Friday. Massimiliano Allegri's men also have one foot into the quarter-finals after earning a well-deserved 2-0 away win against Portuguese outfit Porto in the round of 16 on Wednesday. With a tough Coppa Italia tie against Napoli coming up, it will be interesting to see how Allegri modifies his squad for their Serie A game on Saturday.
As for the Partenopei, they are in action against a high-flying Atalanta. Both teams are on a three match winning streak, and Maurizio Sarri will also have to decide who to feature for what could be a tough game for Napoli. After all, they will have to take on La Vecchia Signora in what should be a very entertaining Coppa Italia clash at the end of this month.
Meanwhile, AC Milan travel to face Sassuolo. The Neroverdi have been a thorn in the side of the Rossoneri since arriving on the Serie A scene in 2013, and despite their struggles this season, the Diavolo will still be wary as they aim to continue pushing for a Europa League spot. And the highlight of this round will definitely be Inter welcoming Roma to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza. If history is any precedent, there should be plenty of fireworks in Italy's fashion capital as two high-flying sides and familiar foes meet up yet again on Sunday evening.
