2024-2027
The BBC has acquired UK rights to the UEFA Champions League for the 2024-2027 cycle. It is the first time that the British public service broadcaster has landed TV rights to this competition. BBC’s Champions League contract includes match highlights on television, as well as on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and mobile apps.

2025-2029
The BBC has retained non-exclusive FA Cup rights from 2025-26 to 2028-29 in the United Kingdom and Ireland, following a multi-year extension deal. As per its sub-licensing agreement with TNT Sports, which is owned by commercial broadcaster Warner Brothers Discovery (WBD), the BBC continues to provide free-to-air coverage of the FA Cup from the 2025-26 through the 2028-29 campaigns.

2025-2030
BBC Sport has extended its Women’s Super League broadcast rights in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland for the 2025-26 to 2029-30 seasons. Thanks to this five-year broadcast deal with the Women’s Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL), the public broadcaster can continue its WSL coverage on free-to-air platforms until 2030.
