The Norwegian ace has once more dealt a massive blow to the tournament's record books in only 45 minutes against the Danish side.

It seems that all goalscoring records in the UEFA Champions League will be owned by Erling Haaland if things continue to develop at their current pace.

Once again, the Norwegian ace will be the subject of nightmares for his rivals' defensive unite, as he bagged one more brace to lead Manchester City to a five-nil win over Kobenhavn. Haaland only needed 45 minutes to do his deed, and what could have happened if he stayed on the pitch will always be the subject of controversy.

Haaland's goals have given him the top spot in the competition, but with these two goals from today, he has now reached 28 goals in the club tournament, which is more than legends such as Rivaldo or Luis Suárez, who managed to score 27. Both of those players reached those numbers having played 73 games, while the Norwegian star has been able to reach that tally in only 22 matches.

Haaland's numbers have even improved the registry of some of Europe's finest teams, according to these stats.

It is still early in the player's career to determine how many goals he will end up scoring, but it is safe to say that his tally could very well have more goals next week when the Citizens visit Kobenhavn on Matchweek 4.
