There will be no David Moyes on the touchline this Saturday as care-taker boss Ryan Giggs will lead Manchester United at home to Norwich. Watch this exciting EPL fixture in live streaming.

Man United vs NorwichPreview: A new page turned at the Theatre of Dreams

Old Trafford is where the Red Devils have lost 24 points out of a possible 48 – in other words, half of their home points this season. This statistic alone is enough to sum up how dreadful things were under sacked manager David Moyes who broke a multitude of unwanted records during his 10-month spell.

The immediate appointment of Ryan Giggs as care-taker coach has been greeted with respect – not only among Manchester United fans worldwide on social media but also in the English press. Much of the focus on April 26th will therefore be centred on proceedings at the Theatre of Dreams where the team has suffered more nightmares than victories this season.

Will Norwich City, who are ranked 17th in the English Premier League, become the victims of Giggs on his debut? The ‘player manager’, as he is now called, could still qualify his side into the UEFA Europa League zone. As of now, however, Manchester United are six points away from sixth-placed Tottenham Hotspur. The current EPL titleholders could reduce the gap to three points as they have a game in hand.

On Friday, Ryan Giggs was speaking to the press when he declared:

“I want players to play with passion, speed, tempo and be brave with imagination – all the things that are expected of a Manchester United player. To work hard but, most of all, enjoy it.”

He added:

“I'll tell the players, ‘just to try to enjoy yourself, express yourself’. My immediate aim is to win on Saturday and I felt the way to do that was to make training as enjoyable as I can so they can go out and play. I think we have done that.”

Meanwhile, Norwich City are fighting relegation. They suffered a narrow defeat at home to Liverpool last weekend and will want to do better against Man United. Since claiming three precious points against Sunderland on March 22, the Canaries have lost each of their last four matches in the Premier League.

On Matchday 35, they could not end Liverpool’s unbeaten run in 2014. Will they spoil Ryan Giggs’ debut as coach on Matchday 36?
