The Norwegian ace continued with his goalscoring streak and this time he managed to give the Citizens three points during the final minutes of the game.

It was certainly a special evening for Erling Haaland, as he was going to face his former team. But to make things even more interesting, the footballer capped a great performance by his team with the game-winning goal.

Borussia Dortmund had taken the lead with a goal by Jude Bellingham during the first minutes of the second half, and just when Manchester City seemed destined to lose the match, two goals in the final ten minutes gave Pep's men their second win of the group stage.

John Stones scored the first goal for Manchester City with ten minutes left in the game, but it was Haaland's strange finish the one that caught the most attention. The Norwegian ace jumped with two men marking him and found a way to hit the ball with the exterior side of his left boot while in the air to make it 2-1 with very little time left.

Following the game, Haaland shared his feelings on the result while also reflecting on how he managed to find the back of the net.

"In the end, we showed what we are, this is what we are and this is how we have to play. I'm proud of the last 20-25 minutes. Two wonderful goals today, mine was a bit better honestly! Nice cross from Cancelo," the player told Manchester City's website.

Haaland became the youngest player in history to score for and against the same team in UEFA Champions League history. He scored his goal against Borussia Dortmund at 22 years 55 days of age, while Alvaro Morata, the previous owner of the record, scored for and against Real Madrid being 22 years and 194 days old.
