The Blues have had another offer thrown out by the Foxes.

Leicester have turned down a new bid from Chelsea for Wesley Fofana, the club's manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed. The Blues have had what was a third bid worth over $83M for the French defender rejected, with the Foxes still maintaining that he is not for sale.

After missing out on the signing of Jules Kounde to Barcelona earlier this summer, Chelsea have turned their full focus to the potential recruitment of Wesley Fofana. Although the Thomas Tuchel's side has been linked with a move for Manchester United's Harry Maguire in recent times, the former reportedly remains the priority signing for the Stamford Bridge outfit.

At the moment, the Leicester City's valuation of the 23-year-old center-back is the only bit holding a deal back, with the player already informing the club of his decision to move to London. Over the weekend, Fofana was dropped from the Leicester City squad that was defeated by Southampton with manager Brendan Rodgers suggesting that his head was not in the right place.

Prior to that, two separate bids from Chelsea had been rejected by the Foxes and, on Tuesday, another offer was rebuffed by the King Power Stadium outfit. According to the Telegraph, the fee was around $83M but contained structured add-ons which were deemed as unrealistic by the Foxes. At the moment, it is understood that Wesley Fofana has been instructed to train with the U23s after failing to turn up to a training session last week.
