ESPN starts thorough coverage of the 2022-23 Bundesliga season this weekend

August 5, 2022 By Oscar Rojas
The German top-flight will have its home in the United States on ESPN, which will also share coverage duties with ABC, ESPN+, and ESPN Deportes.

Once again, fans living in the United States will be able to follow the action of another Bundesliga season on ESPN and its sister platforms: ESPN+, ESPN Deportes, and ABC.

Fans will be thrown right into the action on Friday when the current title holders, Bayern München, face Eintracht Frankfurt away from home. Coverage on ESPN will include Derek Rae and Dietmarr Hamann calling the game from site in English. Spanish commentary by Ricardo Ortiz and Barak Fever will do the same for Spanish-speaking users.

When it comes to studio coverage, Kay Murray and Alejandro Moreno will host ESPN FC for English users, who will be able to watch on ESPN+ and ESPN.

Saturday, August 6 will also bring fans closer to their favorite teams as Borussia Dortmund kick off their season hosting Bayer Leverkusen. Coverage for this game will be available on ABC and ESPN+, while Spanish-speaking users may see the game via ESPN Deportes at 12:30 p.m. ET

Here is ESPN's full coverage for the start of the German top-flight.
