It was a busy week in terms of football matches that could be watched within the United States' borders, and it was certainly worth-watching for those who devoted time to witness games.

The most anticipated matches of the weekend were, of course, the ones that had to do with the end of the Premier League, where Manchester City and Liverpool still had chances to be crowned as champions. Eventually, the Citizens would claim the crown with a come-from-behind win against Aston Villa, which ultimately resulted in that game being the most watched of the week in the United States.

Surprisingly, the second spot in this list did not go to Liverpool's match. The runner-up in the race for the ratings was the first leg of the Liga MX semi-final between América and Pachuca, where a late penalty for Los Tuzos paved the way for them to reach the final. The return leg between these clubs was also one of the most-watched games of the week, with over 1.2M average users watching this tie.
