With the World Cup approximately five months away, a lot has been said about the host country. When you think about Brazil hosting football's most important event, you could only imagine how fantastic it would be.

But judging by the news regarding the stadium construction, FIFA appears to be very worried that the venues may not be completed on time. Apart from that, violence in Brazil, as well as the traveling and different climates have also been a cause for concern.

When Rivaldo was asked about the upcoming World Cup, the former Brazilian international was not surprised at all the negative media.

"We already knew this was going to happen, but I do not want to give my opinion in regards to this anymore," Rivaldo told reporters.

"I've said it before that Brazil does not have the conditions to host a World Cup. It is going to be difficult, and Brazil will end up looking extremely bad. Brazil has so much more they need to focus on. They need to focus on the education and health, instead of building stadiums. A lot of money will be wasted, all for just one month."
