Between Portuguese and Brazilian players and managers, this historic rivalry will once again bring together familiar faces.

Brazilian-born Pepe plays for Portugal.A match between Portugal and Brazil is always guaranteed to bring together a number of world class players, but apart from that, it will bring together two nations who share one language, and a lot of similarities.

The Portuguese and Brazilian have always been a community who interact with eachother a lot. Whether that be in the United States, Brazil, Portugal or anywhere else in the world, these two Portuguese speaking nations tend to be around eachother on a daily basis.

On Tuesday, Scolari will go up against a country that embraced him for a number of years.

The Brazilian manager guided the Portuguese to the Euro 2004 finals, a semi-final match at World Cup 2006, and a quarter-final exit at Euro 2008 against Germany.

His knowledge of the game and passion for the country earned him a lot of respect from the fans, who had forever dreamed of seeing their nation go far in an international tournament.

Although his debut with Portugal was not the greatest, having lost to Italy 1-0, in February of 2003, Felipão will always be a man who will have the respect he deserves from the Lusitanos.

Another special meeting on Tuesday will include Pepe, who will go up against the country where he was born. And although he is clearly well aware of that, the Portuguese central defender does not see any reason for special attention on Tuesday.

"For me it is just another match, I feel as if I am Portuguese," Pepe told reporters when questioned about the meeting with Brazil. "I want my country to win, I hope to have a positive performance and hopefully Portugal comes out on top."

"We need to honor our uniform, and give it our all for the Portuguese fans, and that is exactly what we will do. We have our strengths, and we will look to play our style of football."

With Pepe and Scolari being two main factors in this special meeting, we also cannot forget the likes of Deco and Liedson, who also spent time with the Portuguese National Team.

Although joining the Seleção das Quinas with a lot of mixed emotions among the fans, Brazilian born players have left their mark on Portuguese Football. On Tuesday, Portuguese fans will be hoping that Pepe can help guide them to victory, against their former manager.
