It will see a total of 48 teams split in 12 groups of four. UEFA’s rule explains that no club from the same association will be paired together in the tables.
Some of the biggest teams to play in this season’s Europa League campaign include Turkey’s Besiktas, France’s Olympique Lyonnais and Spain’s Valencia. The 2013/14 UEFA Europa League qualifying stage began on July 2nd and ended on August 29th. The real competition will kick off on September 19th with the final taking place at the Juventus Stadium on May 14, 2014.
