Five matches remain for Porto in the Portuguese title race, adding more pressure with such a small amount of time to make up ground.

Vitor Pereira's side is still chasing Benfica in the top spot of the Portuguese League, making their four point deficit even more difficult to overcome. But, regardless of how many matches remain, the Porto players will know that their is still a lot at stake, and anything is possible.

Getting one step closer to making up ground will have to start on Saturday night when Porto travels to Moreira de Conegos to take on Moreirense.

The hosts are 15th in the Portuguese League with just 21 points, but at this stage of the campaign, they too can not afford to lose points as they are currently sitting in the relegation zone. With both sides very interested in the full three points for different reasons, this match could be more interesting to watch than some would expect.

Porto will not only have a chance to cut the distance to possibly one point, or even three, but they could also put some added pressure on Benfica who plays against Sporting on Sunday.

"All we need to do is our job. Win our matches, arrive in Moreira de Conegos e win the match," said Vitor Pereira when questioned by reporters about the four point gap between his side and Benfica.

"Then, we need to look week by week what is going on around us."

Concerned with the euphoria around the current title chase, Pereira appears to be more concerned about the media seemingly handing the title to Benfica, even with five matches remaining.

Getting past Moreirense will be Porto's only concern at the moment, but the hosts will have not only pride on the line, but they will also know that losing points could be fatal.

"Winning the League Cup was their primary objective," Fabio Espinho told reporters.

"We are going to try and take advantage of their bad moment, which comes from their latest defeat."

Trying to take advantage of Porto's latest defeat against Braga will not be easy, especially since Moreirense has never defeated Porto from the eight matches they have played.

In their last six meetings across all competitions, neither team has scored more than one goal, so this could be a very tight affair, with neither team wanting to go behind early.
