The World Cup qualifiers for Qatar 2022 are back in action, with CONMEBOL being one of several regions resuming action. Thursday ushers in the first round of matches for this calendar year, with Argentina and Brazil gearing up for two interesting games on Matchday 15.

Only two nations have secured qualification to the upcoming tournament, and unsurprisingly, they are the Selecao and La Albiceleste. Nonetheless, the continent's two biggest teams headline this round as they will be facing countries with a lot left to play for.

The only stain to the Selecao's Qatar 2022 qualifying campaign has been two draws, winning the rest of their 11 fixtures. The last time these two sides met, Tite's men won 2-0 and while they will be without talisman forward Neymar, expect the five-time World Cup champions to give La Tri the test of their lives.

Chile vs Argentina: La Albiceleste are one of two teams to have already secured progression and thus can enter this round with little pressure. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about their opponents Chile. La Roja sit outside the qualification spots, and while they are only one point behind Colombia, who occupy the fourth and final automatic qualification ticket as of now, Martín Lasarte's side know they cannot afford to drop further points.
