Manchester United, on the back of yet another comeback win, takes on a West Ham side that bowed meekly to Tottenham during the weekend.

Team News:

Shinji Kagawa, Antonio Valencia and Nani are all out with injuries for Manchester United. Nemanja Vidic is still out injured. The veteran Paul Scholes is suspended after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season against Alou Diarra, Ricardo Vaz Te and Jack Collison are all out for West Ham. Yossi Benayoun and Modibo Maiga are doubtful for the London side. Mark Noble is suspended after picking up a fifth yellow card against Spurs.

Analysis:

West Ham’s current manager, Sam Allardyce, is not a fan of pretty football. His teams play ‘rough’. In other words, the main objective of his team is to use physical strength to gain an advantage in a match. They have the tall Andy Carroll up front to win as many headers as possible. Carroll opened his account against Spurs for his new club of-course.

United can play great football. United should by all means dominate this game. They might go behind to a headed goal. However, they have enough in them to play the Londoners off the park and get an easy three points. Sir Alex Ferguson will perhaps be expecting nothing less than a dominant performance along with three points of-course.
