Chicago will play in front of a home crowd at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, Illinois, where they have won their previous four games. Additionally, the Red Stars finished their season with three straight wins – two against the Orlando Pride and one against Kansas City – and are looking to extend their streak during playoffs.

Chicago Red Stars vs. Gotham FC: Players to watch

Kelia Watt – Chicago Red Stars

Winger Kelia Watt proved to be Chicago’s big-moment player toward the end of the season. Watt scored two game-winning goals against the Orlando Pride in October, and another in a 2-1 win against the Portland Thorns in late September. As a result, the 29-year-old led the Red Stars in goals (5) and assists (4) this season.

Carli Lloyd – Gotham FC

The game between Gotham FC and the Chicago Red Stars could be striker Carli Lloyd’s last game as a professional footballer. However, the 39-year-old will do everything in her power to win and continue fighting for the NWSL title. Lloyd scored her fourth goal of the season against Racing Louisville to help her team reach the first round of playoffs.
