The Portuguese superstar led A Selecao to a convincing win against Lixembourg and back to the top of their group in the UEFA World Cup Qualifiers.

Another international break, and yet another record for Cristiano Ronaldo with the Portuguese national team.

The striker found a way to lead A Selecao das Quinas to an emphatic win against Luxembourg, and while doing so, he managed to earn a couple more records to his already impressive resume with the Portuguese side.

The first one of those records came after less than 15 minutes, when he bagged a brace right from the penalty spot. He even had to take three penalties during that span after one of his teammates invaded the box, but he eventually found the back of the net and saw both his spot kicks go up on the scoreboard. With those goals, he gave Luxembourg the "honor" of being the national team that has been more punished by his goals, with eight.

Later, as the game came to its close, Cristiano bagged his hat-trick with a well-placed header, which also needed to be reviewed by VAR authorities. Once goal was conceded, CR7 was able to celebrate his tenth hat-trick with Portugal, one more international record for the Portuguese ace.
