Manchester United’s new arrival Shinji Kagawa is looking forward to life in England. The former Borussia Dortmund star is hoping to quickly acclimatize to the football, the language and the media.
“It's definitely the greatest challenge of my career and I hope to learn and improve every day,” Kagawa told the press on Thursday.

The Asian has been tipped to excel in his career in England but two of the challenges he faces is the intensity of the football and the media in England. However, the player claims he is ready to take on his mission.

“I definitely feel the attention of the media globally now. I'm a member of a great club at Manchester United.

“I think I can handle the pressure and am pretty confident I can adapt to the style of the Premier League.

“Everything here shows me it's a really big club and it's a great honour to play here. I want to really contribute by achieving concrete results.”

Shinji Kagawa dreams about becoming an important piece in the history of Manchester United. He is aware of the role that communication will play in his development in England.

“Language is very important to me. I'm very motivated to learn English. I hope I can learn it quickly so I can communicate with my team mates very soon.”

Earlier this summer, Kagawa dismissed the prospect of carrying Manchester United’s iconic number 7 jersey which has now been handed to Ecuadorian winger Antonio Valencia.
