Paris, 16 May 2012 - The Eurosport Group has agreed a deal with UEFA for time-shifted broadcast across Europe of the UEFA EURO 2012 (8 June - 1 July) in Poland and Ukraine.

The Euro 2012 tournament on EurosportThe deal covers all 31 matches, which will be broadcast in standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD) on Eurosport and Eurosport 2 in 58 countries. Selected matches will be repeated, making a combined total of 230 hours of programming.

EURO 2012 Show, a 30-minute daily show broadcast at 20:00 (cet) from 7 June and hosted by Eurosport's chief editor Stefano Bernabino will feature match reviews and analysis from a line-up of expert pundits including:

• Arsène Wenger, Arsenal's world-famous coach.

• Rafael Benitez, who has managed Liverpool, Inter Milan and Valencia.

 

• Patrick Kluivert, record goalscorer for the Dutch national side and 1998 World Cup semi-finalist.

• Thomas Berthold, right back, 1990 World Cup winner with Germany and runner-up in 1986,      62 caps.

• Fredi Bobic, forward, 1996 EURO champion with Germany, Bundesliga best scorer in 1996, current Stuttgart Sport Director.

In the lead-up to the UEFA EURO 2012 Eurosport will broadcast:

- EURO Countdown: a programme broadcast weekly on Mondays in May, then daily on 4, 5 and 6 June. EURO Countdown includes latest news, profiles, who's up, who's down and covers announcements of national squad selections.

- Highlights from friendly matches featuring teams participating in the UEFA EURO 2012 will be broadcast on 26 May and 2 June.
