The former Primavera coach won't be taking any chances against the already-relegated outfit as he aims to send the Nerazzurri to the Champions League.
Andrea Stramaccioni is more than aware that Inter Milan face a depleted Cesena, but won't be taking any chances, especially because Cesena had Juventus deadlocked for a good eighty minutes before the league leaders finally edged them 1-0 in an evenly-balanced clash midweek.

"The team we'll be up against tomorrow are clearly having a difficult time of things because they've just been relegated but if we look at their recent performances they've only lost to Juventus, and that was 10 minutes from the end after playing the whole game at high tempo," affirmed Stramaccioni during a pre-match press conference.

"We certainly won't underestimate Cesena: Inter will have to be very good tomorrow. We've got ourselves in a position where this is an important match and we want to do well in front of our fans. We're fired up and, as I said, we're not underestimating Cesena but tomorrow I want to see a top performance from Inter."

Since Stramaccioni replaced Claudio Ranieri as the coach of Inter in March the Nerazzurri have remained unbeaten through five games, and have moved within touching distance of the Champions League qualification zone, which currently belongs to Lazio.

In the pre-match conference, a reporter branded Sunday's fixture with Cesena as being 'now or never' for Inter's Champions League aspirations, but Stramaccioni admitted that he has been hearing the same thing for a while now.

"I hear that every week. It is a great opportunity and of course we'll be looking out for the results from the other grounds but I'm focusing on Inter. We've benefited from this situation in the league where things are even because by doing well we've managed to get ourselves back in the mix," he affirmed.

"We realise that it wouldn't take much for that to change, but we're concentrating on our own game. Then when all this weekend's matches have been played we'll see where we are."

Finally, the former Inter Primavera coach stressed the importance of ending the season in the best possible manner.

"I think Inter are united and the Udinese game was proof of that. Now we must think about finishing the season without making any promises or calculations. Let's just make sure we finish the season in true Inter style," he concluded.

Inter Milan find themselves just three points away from the Champions League qualification zone, and their chances of entering this competition seriously depend on the outcome of Sunday's clash with Cesena.
