With just a handful of games left to play in the Serie A the league leaders will be aiming for their eighth successive victory that would steer them closer towards the Scudetto.

Apr 28, 2012: Roma vs Napoli

Roma welcome Napoli to the Stadio Olimpico in what promises to be a hotly-contested affair, because both sides will be fighting for the third and final Champions League spot, which currently belongs to Lazio. Luis Enrique's side were delt a major blow, when they suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Fiorentina midweek, and will be hoping to get back on track with a crucial victory over the Neapolitans. But in order to achieve this first they must find a way to tame Napoli talisman Edinson Cavani, who is second on the Serie A scoring charts with 21 goals.

Prediction: Roma 0-1 Napoli

Apr 29, 2012: Inter Milan vs Cesena

Inter's impressive 3-1 victory over Udinese on Wednesday didn't only extend their unbeaten record to five games since the appointment of interim coach Andrea Stramaccioni, but it allowed them to move within just three points of third place and the Champions League zone. The Nerazzurri haven't been playing brilliant soccer, but the fighting spirit is definitely there, and the return to form of Dutch playmaker Wesley Sneijder, who scored twice against Udinese, will further boost the side. Inter have clearly set their sights on a place in the Champions League, and from now onwards there is no margin for error. Inter must obtain maximum points when they battle with bottom-placed Novara at the San Siro on Sunday.

Prediction: Inter 3-1 Cesena

Apr 29, 2012: Novara vs Juventus

With just a handful of games left to play until the conclusion of the season, league leaders Juventus enjoy a three-point lead over second-placed Milan, and are the odds on favourites, not only because of their seven-game winning streak, but because they have a significantly easier passage towards the title. On Sunday the Bianconeri take on relegation candidates Novara, and are expected to return to Turin with the three points in the bag. Antonio Conte counts with all of the right resources to win the Scudetto, but can't come into Sunday's game overconfident, particularly because Novara claimed a shock victory over Lazio midweek.

Prediction: Novara 0-2 Juventus

Apr 29, 2012: Siena vs AC Milan

Despite the fact that it appeared that Milan had entered a late season crisis, their valuable 1-0 victory over Genoa on Wednesday has brought them back to life, and they only find themselves three points behind the league leaders. While Massimiliano Allegri's side have not been anything near flashy in recent weeks, they still have back-to-back titles within their reach, and will be praying that Juventus drop points in their final four games of the season. But it would be naive to count on this, as their rivals appear to be stronger than ever at present, and if they do drop any points they are likely to be just a couple at most. Due to this, the Rossoneri should completely focus on themselves, and this starts on Sunday when they travel to the Montepaschi Arena to do battle with Siena.

Prediction: Siena 1-2 Milan
