Due to the devastating news it was confirmed that the entire Italian soccer calendar will be rearranged for a later date.
The weekend's Italian soccer calendar has been postponed following the death of Livorno midfielder Piermario Morosini on Saturday.

Morosini, 25, was pronounced dead after suffering cardiac arrest during a Serie B match against Pescara.

The match was called off due to the tragedy which occurred in the 31st minute of the first half.

After the death of Morosini was confirmed Antonello Valentini, the general director of the Federcalcio (FIGC), announced that Italy's entire soccer calendar will be postponed and rearranged for a later date.

The death also has strong links with the Serie A, Italy's top-flight, because the deceased had joined Livorno on loan from Udinese only in January.

On Saturday, Udinese had been scheduled to meet Inter Milan for the Serie A.
