The Old Trafford faithful are asking for more signings with Raphael Varane close to joining the Premier League outfit.

Manchester United fans have made a fresh transfer request to the club's hierarchy after it became apparent that Raphael Varane's move to the club is nearing its completion. The French defender is close to sealing a move that will cost the Red Devils more than $48M and supporters of the club are pushing for the signing of Eduardo Camavinga to help in their bid to compete for titles next season.

Multiple reports from Spain and England indicated that Manchester United and Real Madrid have finally reached an agreement on the transfer fee for Raphael Varane after talks accelerated in the past 48 hours. The 28-year-old center-back has entered the last year of his current contract and will be eligible to secure a free transfer at the end of the season. Having rejected Los Blancos' contract extension offer, the Spanish club sort to cut their losses by cashing in on the World Cup-winner.

Varane had already agreed personal terms with Manchester United and with reports suggesting that he only fancied a move to Old Trafford, and having been a respectable servant to Real Madrid, his desires have been granted. According to Fabrizio Romano, the French defender will sign a four-year contract with the option to extend for a fifth. Having featured in the last two pre-season training for Carlo Ancelotti's side, he is expected to move to England in the course of the week to complete the move to Manchester United.

Needless to say, reports from England have stated that Manchester United are far from done in the transfer market. Having recruit Jadon Sancho and with Raphael Varane set to join, the Red Devils are said to be closing in on the signing of Sevilla's Jules Kounde and could move for a central defensive midfielder before the season kicks off. In that department, fans have implored the club to secure the service of Rennes' Eduardo Camavinga with the price of West Ham's Declan Rice said to be too high.

The 18-year-old has been identified as a transfer target for Manchester United but although Rennes have confirmed their desire to allow him to leave should the right price arrive, the Red Devils are not expected to make a move for him unless a few players depart. Many suggest that the purported sale of Paul Pogba to Paris Saint-Germain should necessitate the need for the signing of Camavinga before the transfer window shuts close.
