Emotions will reign at the San Siro on Wednesday night as Milan v Arsenal will mark Thierry Henry’s last match for the Gunners.
Thierry Henry could seal his short loan spell at Arsenal brilliantly. The MLS star has been phenomenal on his return – so much that Gervinho’s absence due to the 2012 AFCON has not left Gooners in despair. Henry will be making his seventh and last appearance for Arsenal against the Rossoneri of Milan as his loan contract will expire shortly.

A dream comeback at the Emirates saw him offer a 1-0 victory against Leeds United in the Third Round of the FA Cup. Henry scored again in Arsenal’s 7-1 demolition of Blackburn Rovers. Last weekend, the New York Red Bull striker netted an injury time winner against Sunderland to ignite his team’s top four finish aspirations.

On Wednesday in Italy, Arsenal will attempt to bury the disappointment of losing to Barcelona in the knockout stages of last season’s UEFA Champions League. For Henry, the game will be his first European encounter in an Arsenal shirt since the 2006 Champions League final defeat against Barca in Paris.

Thierry Henry is leaving Arsenal on February 16. He won’t have the chance to help the Gunners in the return leg of this UEFA Champions League tie. Provocative AC Milan star midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng eventually believes that Arsenal have absolutely no chance of edging past the Rossoneri.

“I’m not scared of Arsenal. The problem with Arsenal is one day they play amazing football and then they play really badly,” Boateng defiantly told The Sun.

“In the end, they don't have balance. They either play unbelievable football or they don't know what they're doing.

“It comes down to inexperience. Arsenal don't know what you have to do to win titles - they're always close but they break down.

“The players are young, hungry, but don't know how to break this target. Without the experience it's difficult.

“There's always something missing at Arsenal. That bit is the experience - we have so much of that at Milan and that is what they need.”
