Les Parisians are looking to snatch the Manchester United playmaker to the French capital.

Paris Saint-Germain have established initial contact with the entourage of Paul Pogba, a report from France has revealed. The Ligue 1 club recently emerged as an admirer of the 28-year-old Manchester United star and are now pushing to secure the service of the midfielder this summer.

Paul Pogba's future at Old Trafford has come under scrutiny with talks on a potential extension stalling. With the player having just a year left on his current contract, Manchester United risk losing him on a free transfer at the end of the season. Earlier, the UK media indicated that an offer was being prepared for the former Juventus man although the Premier League club were waiting for his Euro 2020 spell with France to conclude first.

On Monday, RMC Sport reported that Paris Saint-Germain could throw a spanner in the works for the Red Devils as they are now speeding up their pursuit of Pogba. Having recently signed Inter Milan's Achraf Hakimi and also concluding business for the free transfer of Gianluigi Donnarumma, Georginio Wijnaldum and Sergio Ramos, the Parisians are eager to bolster their ranks even further.

Pogba's probably move back to his home country is also being fueled by speculations that Manchester United are linning his compatriot Eduardo Camavinga as his replacement. According to Sky Sports, the teenager is being monitored by Real Madrid, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain and, despite preferring a move to the latter, is interested in the project proposed by the latter. With Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side making contact with his representatives, a bid is expected to arrive at Rennais in the coming days.

Per the reports, Camavinga is expected to cost the Premier League outfit in the excess of 30M pounds should an agreement be reached.
