Speaking in an improvised interview for El Chiringuito, Pogba came clean about his career and his feelings after being eliminated from the UEFA Euro 2020.

In what turned out to be a shocking but entertaining interview, Paul Pogba discussed a variety of topics in the Spanish TV show "El Chiringuito" thanks to his brother, Mathias, who is regularly invited to share his thoughts on football-related topics.

The midfielder joined the show via a videoconference, and once the connection was set, he replied to almost all questions fired by the panel. The first one of those had to do with the French National Team's elimination, where he stated his disappointment for such a baffling loss despite holding a 3-1 lead at one point of the game.

"I have a mixture of feelings. Sadness because we knew we had them...I've cried because it was our fault, it was a really emotional game for us. We had high hopes to win, but it was not possible," Pogba said.

Speaking of that subject, Pogba referred to those who blame Kylian Mbappé for the team's elimination, pondering that his teammate did everything he could to help Les Bleus progress.

"Of course not. We had great players and we expected big things. Everyone expected him to score five goals and win the Golden Boot for the competition, but he created chances, he did his job and left his soul on the pitch. He's one of the greats, and he will develop even further. He is not the only one to blame, we are all on the same boat.

Before the interview concluded, the TV show's hosts tried to get Pogba to speak about Real Madrid and a possible transfer involving him. Cheeky as he is, Pogba eluded the question in stylish fashion, but he did not rule out any move to Los Blancos or another team.

Real Madrid? I knew that question was coming. The thing is....I have to leave now, because they are waiting for me. I am going to take a few days off so, I want to thank you for everything, take care," Pogba concluded.

Pogba's deal at Manchester United comes to an end next summer, and some sources close to the player and his agent have hinted that Manchester United would be keen on letting him go this summer rather than open the door for him for free before next season.
