The English striker is on the verge of completing a move to the Bundesliga, with details set to be sorted out between Spurs and the Bavarians.

Every week, Harry Kane seems closer to an exit from Tottenham. Judging by these words by one of Bayern's top execs, it seems like the deal could take place sooner than expected.

Speaking in a press conference, Bayern president Uli Hoeness admitted the conversations between the club and the footballer, adding that all terms have been agreed and that the only thing standing in the way of Kane's move is Tottenham's approval.

Hoeness revealed that the biggest reason Kane has to push for a move is the lack of European competitions for Tottenham next season.

"He wants to play European tournaments. Tottenham will not be playing any next season, and we will be involved in those. He has the chance to join a top-level European team," Hoeness stated.

The former footballer went on to add that the 29-year-old speaks frequently with his colleague Karl Heinz Rummenigge, who has been in charge of all the dealings. According to Hoeness, Kane will have to prove he is a man of his word and end up joining Die Roten.

"Rummenigge speaks with him almost every day. If Kane keeps his promise, then he will become a Bayern player shortly.

Kane, who became Tottenham's all-time top scorer last season, is seeking for pastures new after failing to extend his deal with Spurs. The striker has been linked to Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Bayern, but it seems that his heart is set on a move to Allianz Arena.
