The French superstar is looking for a way out of the Ligue 1 winners, and his recent words on this matter have caused quite a stir.

The last few days have been filled with pressures from PSG to try and twist Kylian Mbappé's arm in his potential departure from PSG. An interview published earlier today by France Football seems to show that the player's intentions have not changed and that he will keep pushing to leave Les Parisiens with the first chance he gets.

In the interview, Mbappé drops a big hint on how he intends to leave PSG once his contract comes to an end  -or sooner-, admitting he is keen on winning titles, especially the UEFA Champions League.

"Are there reasons to believe this will be my last season in Ligue 1? It's simple: I'm a competitor. When I play, I play to win. It doesn't matter what jersey I am wearing, it doesn't matter where I'm playing or what year is it, I never get enough. I just want to win and I am never satisfied. I want to win the Champions League," Mbappé stated.

The player went on to explain that his views are not a matter of a big ego, they are just a reflection of how he has handled his career so far.

"I am never satisfied, which is why I am unimpressed with what I do. I always tell me that I can do better. I have this desire to win that does not allow me to be in a team just to participate. That is why sometimes people see me as an arrogant player. It is not in my nature to hide my feelings or to keep to myself the things that I want, even when things don't go as I had planned," Mbappé added.

When asked about what it would take for PSG to win the UCL title, Mbappé dribbled past that question and urged his current employers to do what they believe is right to see that happening, while also naming his stats to show how relevant he has been for the team.

"I don't know what PSG are missing to win the Champions League. It is not a question I have to answer. You have to ask that to the people that handle the squad and that build this club. I just try to do my best. I was the best player and top scorer in Ligue 1 for the fifth year in a row, and yet my critics say I could do better. In football, sometimes you face what is called a "mirror roof", which is why that question is not for me, it should be made to those paying the wages," Mbappé concluded.

The French player is set to enter the final year of his deal with PSG, with Real Madrid reportedly being on the sidelines waiting to make their move. PSG execs have been clear about their intentions to keep the footballer, but to do so, Mbappé will have to sign a new deal or risk being frozen out by the French side, who are not willing to let him go on a free transfer next summer.
