Inter Milan have confirmed their fine form during a crucial moment of the season, and they did so with a convincing win in the Supercoppa Italiana against none other than their bitter rivals AC Milan.

The nerazzurri won the tie three-nil with a stellar performance by Edin Dzeko, who had Federico Dimarco and Lautaro Martínez as his two partners in crime for this game. All these players scored to give Inter their second Supercoppa title in a row, with Dzeko and Dimarco scoring in the first half and Lautaro finding the back of the net during the second.

The strike by the Argentine ace caught the eye of fans across the globe, as he managed to get past Fikayo Tomori with a swift move and pulled a stunning finish with the outer end of his right foot to score quite an impressive goal. That strike capped a nice defensive effort by Inter, who are now tied in second place for the most wins in Supercoppa history, with seven.
