The Ukrainian ace sent out a clear message with this Instagram post!

Arsenal are on the hunt for an attacker and it's no secret that Mykhailo Mudryk is their main target for the upcoming January transfer window.

Given the recent injury to Gabriel Jesus, there is a sense of urgency at the Emirates Stadium to bolster their forward line. While the aforementioned Ukrainian ace was on their radar last summer, the Gunners have upped their interest in the highly-rated winger and are keen on recruiting him next month.

In fact, as revealed by Fabrizio Romano, the Premier League leaders have just submitted a bid for the 21-year-old worth €40M (roughly $43M) plus €20M ($21M) in add-ons in an attempt to get him through the door as early as possible.

And while Shakhtar aren't expected to accept this offer as it is short of their valuation, Arteta's men are pushing hard. In fact, even Mudryk is doing his part to secure this transfer, with the winger taking to social media with another come-and-get-me plea.

The North London giants were in action yesterday, taking on West Ham in an exciting Boxing Day showdown. Despite going 1-0 down, Saka and Co. again showed why they are top of the Premier League, scoring three goals in the second half to pull off a 3-1 comeback victory.

Millions across the globe watched that lovely victory, including Mudryk, who took to Instagram to share a picture of him following a live stream of that London Derby. The screenshot he posted was of Eddie Nketiah's spectacular goal and it reemphasized one thing: Mykhailo only wants Arsenal.

Personal terms look to be a foregone conclusion due to the player's desperation to join the Gunners. However, it remains to be seen whether the English giants can agree a reasonable fee with the winger's current employers.

This isn't the first time Mudryk has sent out a public plea. In an interview with Ben Jacobs of CBS Sport, the attacker revealed that Arsenal are one of his dream clubs and that he would not be able to turn them down. A few months later, the Shakhtar ace spoke of his admiration for the Gunners and his ambition to leave during the winter in an interview with famous Ukrainian journalist Vlada Sedan, who just so happens to be Zinchenko's wife.

Arteta's side are currently top of the table, sitting seven points ahead of second-placed Newcastle and eight ahead of Man City, who are yet to play. The addition of Mudryk would strengthen their squad but only time will tell if Edu and Co. can get this deal over the line.
