The Croatian goalkeeper's form has not gone overlooked by some of the best teams in the world, who are now reportedly ready to sign him right away.

One of the standout performers in this FIFA World Cup edition has been, without a doubt, Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic. Fortunately for him, his form has been highly praised by some of the top teams in the world, and one of them might even make a bid for his services as things stand.

According to French newspaper L'Equipe, Livakovic is being followed by some top-caliber teams in the globe, but one of those has even sent their sporting director to watch him perform live. The team in question is none other than Bayern München, and the team exec watching his performances is the legendary shot-stopper Oliver Kahn.

Bayern München are desperate to find a proper goalkeeper for the second half of the season after Manuel Neuer injured his leg in a skiing accident. Initially, the Bavarians were trying to end Alexander Nübel's loan to Monaco to fill in for Neuer, but if things follow their current course, then Die Roten will be forced to add new blood to their lineup, and that's where Livakovic comes in.

The French publication adds that Kahn's recommendation to sign Livakovic would come in handy for Bayern's bosses, especially with the player proving his worth during the games against Japan and Brazil, where he saved three penalties. To make things even easier for Bayern, Croatian team Dinamo Zagreb would be keen on letting the player leave, as long as the offer coming in from Germany is satisfactory.

The 27-year-old's deal with the Croatian side comes to an end in 2024. which may be a roadblock in his potential move. Nevertheless, the team would be interested in negotiating with Kahn and Co., as long as the terms offered benefit the player and the squad.

Livakovic has played over 180 games for Dinamo Zagreb, winning five Croatian league titles and many other accolades. He has defended Croatia's net 39 times, claiming the No.1 spot under the team's sticks in 2021.
