The highly anticipated match featuring Manchester United and Liverpool finally got underway this Wednesday after having to be rescheduled from earlier this month, and it certainly did not disappoint.
Previously supposed to be played at the start of May, but cancelled following fan protests at Old Trafford, the Red Devils and the Reds met in the rearranged fixture, and as expected, there were plenty of fireworks from start to finish.
Six goals were scored in a thriller that eventually ended as a 4-2 win for Jurgen Klopp's men, who now have won two on the bounce and three of their last five as they still haven't given up hope of trying to secure a top four spot. The Reds sit in fifth, four points behind Chelsea with a game in hand.
Meanwhile, Manchester United, who also have the Europa League final to look forward to, have lost back to back fixtures, and had to watch as cross-town rivals Manchester City won the Premier League title last weekend.
The win for Liverpool was especially noteable as this marks their first victory at Old Trafford in seven years, and predictably, it's gotten fans and pundits alike buzzing. Check out some of those reactions below.
