The Brazilian ace has just signed a contract extension with Les Parisiens, while CR7 may have to leave Juventus by the end of the season.

Neymar's decision to keep playing for PSG has come as quite a shock for most, but not as shocking as the Brazilian player's recent words in an interview with GQ Style.

According to the publication, the former Barcelona player has openly admitted his desire to play with none other than Cristiano Ronaldo, who is not enjoying his time at Juventus since the club was eliminated from the UEFA Champions League and lost the Serie A title to Inter.

Apparently, Neymar believes that playing alongside CR7 would benefit his career in the same way that playing with other footballers has.

"I'd love to play with Cristiano Ronaldo. It's something I'd like to do because I've already played with great players such as Messi and Mbappé, but I have not been able to play alongside Cristiano," the player told GQ Style.

Neymar's words come at a time when CR7 is apparently ready to leave Juventus due to the team's failure to secure a spot in the UEFA Champions League and because life in Italy has not been easy for the player this past year. Furthermore, his arrival could be used as a balm if Kylian Mbappé ends up leaving PSG to join Real Madrid as most experts have predicted.

The footballer went on further to reveal the goals he still wants to accomplish before he hangs up his boots.

"On a professional level, I'd love to win the World Cup. It's been a life-long dream of mine. But I also want to win every title there is with PSG: the UEFA Champions League, the Coupe de France...I'm almost 30 and I think I've had a great career," Neymar added.

Even before Neymar's words, experts in France hinted that the upcoming summer would be quite interesting for Les Parisiens and for Cristiano Ronaldo. Are Neymar's statements a sign of things to come? Let's wait and see if these football geniuses end up playing side-by-side next season.
