Barcelona are yet to win after starting the season with a thumping 5-0 victory over Villarreal. However, fans would like to believe that the Catalans’ latest results are nothing to serious.
Barcelona lost a precious 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 against minnows and rivals Real Sociedad last weekend. That draw allowed Real Madrid to open an early 2-point gap against them at the top of La Liga standings.

In the UEFA Champions League recently, the Catalans failed to make the most of their dominance against AC Milan in the second period of the match as a late Thiago Silva header forced them to settle for a single point at the Camp Nou.

Xavi called the result “unfair” and a product of “pure bad luck.” Team mate Carles Puyol echoed Xavi’s comments by stating at a press conference on Wednesday:

“It was really unfair and it left a bad taste in our mouths. It was unfortunate, but we must move on and think about the next game.”

In their next match, Barcelona will come up against Osasuna and Xavi Hernandez is looking forward to it with a strong desire for justice in honor of his team’s desire to win. The Spanish midfielder told the Spanish press:

“We have to carry on, because this has just begun. We have to win now, starting with next Saturday's game against Osasuna.”

Xavi added the following, only to increase fears about the influence of the fatigue factor within the squad.

“The team is a bit down, we can’t explain why.”

Barcelona supporters will be hoping for a reason to be found soon before things become more serious.
