The Norwegian superstar has issued a response to the rumors linking him with the likes of Rea Madrid, Man City, and Barcelona.

Erling Haaland is one of the hottest names in world football, with the 20-year-old striker being linked with a who's who of Europe's biggest clubs. While the Dortmund ace has remained tight-lipped for the most part regarding the transfer rumors, the Norwegian has finally broken his silence and issued a response regarding his Signal Iduna Park future.

The former Salzburg talent broke onto the scene in the UEFA Champions League with the Austrian giants before sealing a move to the German top-flight. Since then, things have only gotten better for Haaland, with the powerful forward shattering goalscoring records for fun.

The young striker has made 49 appearances for Dortmund and has netted a whopping 49 times, thus averaging a goal per game for the Germans. Furthermore, he has continued his European exploits, recently becoming the fastest and youngest player to score 20 goals in the UCL.

As a result, he is now wanted by some of the biggest teams in the world, with Real Madrid, Man United, Man City, Chelsea, and Barcelona all said to be keen on landing Haaland. The Dortmund ace appears destined for a Signal Iduna Park exit but when pressed on this issue while on international duty, the attacker played down the exit rumors.

"I still have three years of contract [at Dortmund]. I am not worried about that," Erling said, refusing to add further fuel to the speculations.

A recent incident in Dortmund's weekend clash with Koln added to the belief that Haaland is already ready to quit the German club. After drawing the game 2-2, a result that was damaging to their UEFA Champions League hopes, the Norwegian ace was seen throwing his jersey and storming down the tunnel in anger.

However, the player has apologized for his actions, admitting that it was an error caused by his inability to control his frustration, saying (as per the Manchester Evening News):

"I don't know if you noticed when I left the field, but I was quite angry," he added. "It was a wrong reaction to throw the shirt, I'm sorry. I was not able to control myself, I was very angry."

Regardless, many see it as a matter of time before the 20-year-old leaves the Signal Iduna Park. The true mystery is where his next destination will be. Real Madrid and Barcelona are two clubs that boast the prestige but lack the finances due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Man City and Chelsea, on the other hand, have the riches but might be forced to break the bank in order to beat Los Blancos and the Blaugrana to his signature.
