The four-time UEFA Champions League winner could join the North American league in the next transfer windows.

One of Real Madrid's most beloved players could be living his final moments with the Spanish giants, as a potential move to the MLS seems to be the way to continue his historical playing career.

According to a report by France Football, former player-turned-owner David Beckham has already started discussions to bring none other than Marcelo to Inter Miami. The player will be out of a contract with Los Blancos next summer, and a free transfer could be in the works for the Brazilian ace.

The English legend is reportedly keen on bringing Marcelo to Miami as a designated player. There, Marcelo would team up once again with former Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuaín.

While Marcelo's exit on a free transfer does not seem as appealing as it should for Real Madrid, the fact that Los Merengues would save up to $18M for the player's wages would certainly make them interested in such a move.

Marcelo has seen his playing time being limited with the Spanish club this season after losing the starting spot to Ferland Mendy. While he is still considered as one of the leaders within the team's dressing room, his time at the Bernabeu could come to an end very soon, and a move to the North American league should not be dismissed.
