Dudek has hailed former teammate Karim Benzema as an extraordinary player and believes that he is better than Ronaldo.
Benzema once famously admitted that he was a true fan of the Brazilian Ronaldo but Jerzy Dudek believes that the Frenchman is a step above from his idol. Dudek, who just recently left Madrid after his contract expired said that Benzema is an extraordinary player and a step above the Fenomena.

"When I first saw his first training session, I was impressed," Dudek said in an interview with France Football.

"I told all my friends that Madrid had signed an extraordinary player. For me, he is even better than Ronaldo, the Brazilian. Karim has incredible qualities; he is fast and he is elusive, and he has an eye for goal."

Benzema has consistently failed to make the first team with Gonzalo Higuain being rated as a better player than him. However, Dudek insisted that Jose Mourinho's coaching methods will ensure that Benzema gets his due rewards for the efforts he puts during training.

"Mourinho never leaves a player to the side. He knows how to psychologically motivate a player if he believes he can bring something to the group. This first season in Madrid has been difficult for him, but he works for the future of Real."
