Blatter is convinced that he has what it takes to clear up FIFA's tarnished image after recent corruption scandals brought mayhem to the association.
FIFA president Sepp Blatter is determined to restore credibility into the international football organization after recent scandals added dirt into their image on the global level.

Blatter was re-elected for another four years last week after his original election rival Mohamed Hammam was suspended by the Ethics committee over claims of corruption.

Despite having opposition over the taking place of the election, proceedings did take off and Blatter was officially re-elected after being unopposed during the election.

"I have said 'zero tolerance' is one thing, but I have also said the social and cultural implementation of football is important -- but now it's to rebuild the image of Fifa, that's number one, and I have already started," Blatter told CNN.

"We are now somewhere where football needs a little bit more credibility because we came building up football, bringing so much money in to this game.

"Automatically a lot of devils came in to the game and now we are in a situation where we have to go forward and we have to cut all these allegations, criticism, whatever. We can't do it in one day, but we will do it."

Jack Warner has promised to reveal more scandals involving Blatter while rumors are also claiming that Blatter could step down in 2013. What are your thoughts on this? Leave a comment!
